home sweet nyc

I have returned to New York City, a visiting local. After a long and eventful year living another life. How does it feel to walk these familiar, chaotic, energy exuding streets? To be surrounded on all sides by foreign faces and stimulation? To speak in a language of English mixed with smiles?

It feels like home. (I have long ago determined that you can have more than one.)

And they say you can’t go home again. They (whoever ‘they’ are) lie!

  4. So glad you are enjoying your other home. 🙂 What’s the thing you have enjoyed most of all so far?

I love your photos, Kasia – both modern, but old-school New York. I hope you had an incredible, reflective, fulfilling and adventurous week back home. Remember, you will always have two homes now! So glad I got to see you. xo

I like the idea of having more than one home! That really resonated with me having moved from my native California and never quite feeling that anything but there is home…now I know to change my thinking to believe I can have 2 homes or more!

I am back from vacation and getting unburied and finally get a chance to visit all my friends! Oh looks like you were home when all the DSK stuff hit, that should have been interesting! I agree you can have multiple homes.
